Sourced from 45-year-old vines in Santa Cruz Mountains, this Cabernet shows a dense purple core. The classic nose offers crème de cassis, pencil lead, and a touch of dried sage. The full-bodied palate delivers impressive concentration - blackberry preserves, dark chocolate, and firm but ripe tannins - with Antonio Galloni (94 pts) noting its "mountain vineyard tension." Best 2025-2035 with dry-aged ribeye. Only 275 cases made.
