A Bordeaux-style blend (Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot/Petit Verdot) from Oakville’s famed gravel beds, now hitting its stride. Deep garnet with bricking at the rim, it offers a mature nose of black truffle, dried fig, cedar chest, and a touch of leather—like a well-aged Médoc. The palate is resolved but far from faded, with flavors of prune, tobacco leaf, and dark cocoa gliding across suede-textured tannins. Wine Spectator (93 pts) notes its "second-wave complexity," suggesting drinking now–2028 with beef Wellington or mushroom-stuffed quail.
