A blend of grapes from the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs, this is a fresh wine that could age. Along with acidity and a nervy texture, it offers touches of orange zest as well as citrus. Drink this bottling from 2020. The First Growth terroirs of Epernay Slopes and Montagne de Reims combine. Half-way between aperitif and lunch, this champagne is the perfect introduction. Buds are excited, tongues are loosened: minerality and fruity come in, they are Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. No dosage. Pair with seafood, fried chicken, charcuterie, and soft cheeses, green salads topped with ripe red berries.
